Skirt Steak Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 ounces of inside skirt Steak
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • ¼ small red onion diced
  • 3 oz. of La Mexicana Cantina Salsa
  • Splash of olive oil
  • Cast iron pan
  • Sprig of basil for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Place pan in a preheated 450 degree oven for 15 minutes, season skirt with salt and pepper. Add the olive oil to the pan, carefully place the steak in the pan and cook for three minutes on each side. Take the steak out of the pan and let it rest for two minutes. Place on a large plate, in one corner place the chopped onions, place the steak next to the onions, spoon the La Mexicana Cantina Salsa near the steak, garnish with the basil and Enjoy!
